Horacio Garcia
Founder & Principal
Mr. Garcia brings a 30-year career in Private Banking and Commercial Banking in Mexico, the USA and Europe (London, Monaco and Geneva). Throughout his career, Mr. Garcia cultivated personal relationships with leading Mexican families and advised them both as Institutional Clients and for Personal Banking relationships.
Mr. Garcia begun his financial services career at Shearson Lehman/American Express in 1983. He worked at Senior Management level for Bear Stearns and Alex Brown, which later became Deutsche Bank/Alex Brown. Mr. Garcia served on the Management Board of the Banque Pasche Monaco and was in charge of the Ultra High Net-Worth Desk. Mr. Garcia attended the School of Finance at the University of Denver, the General Motors Management Development Program in Michigan and the Shearson Lehman/American Express Financial Consultant Internship Program.
He is also currently a Partner at Alpen Partners AG Switzerland, Alpen Partners International and Goldbach Capital.
Maria Isabel Alvarado
Partner
Ms. Alvarado holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and a Master's Degree in International Marketing from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
She began her career in marketing and public relations, building experience in strategic communications, brand positioning, and client relationship management. She later transitioned to the life insurance industry, where she has more than 10 years of experience across operations, policy administration, underwriting support, client service, and business development.
Throughout her career, Ms. Alvarado has worked with individuals, families, and business owners to implement life insurance, estate planning, and wealth preservation strategies aligned with their long-term financial objectives. Her multidisciplinary background combines business, marketing, and insurance expertise, allowing her to deliver tailored solutions and a high standard of client service.
Andrea Garcia
Partner
Ms. Garcia previously served as Global Director of Young Leaders at Monaco Private Label, an initiative of the Monegasque government, where she led international programs focused on leadership development, business development, and cross-border stakeholder engagement. Earlier in her career, she held positions at BlackRock in Mexico and Hibachi in New York.
Ms. Garcia holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's degree in International Affairs from Northeastern University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is also the Co-Founder and Chief of Staff of PhilARThropy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating sustainable funding for art and music teacher salaries in New York City Public Schools.
